Hmmm.... please read
Of course I don't want to politicise this. But, things do happen no matter what... okay, we may to look all factors concerned why it happened, but again.... hmmm...
Just think - what if the same situation happens to you or your family members, 'cos we never know when we will lose our Mykad..
Please spare a thought for this poor lady and what she has to say :
"...I got this blue MyKad in just three minutes and I have been waiting two years for it.
“I want to know why they put me through all this.”
Do we want to go through the same thing this poor lady faced?
'Nuff said...

"Syed Hamid said that he is aware of various citizenship applications involving local Sabahans and assured that each application would be studied carefully and genuine cases would be resolved."
Whoever Syed Hamid is, does he not consider Sabahans citizens of Malaysia? Why is he saying here citizenship applications involving local Sabahans need to be studied carefully? Local Sabahans are automatically Malaysian citizens therefore do not need to apply for citizenship. Budukang.
Next, according to the newspaper article, the lady was issued a blue IC in 1996, so she has always been a Malaysian citizen. If she was a permanent resident (like my grandmother has red IC still) she would have never been granted a blue IC anyway.
Are we Malaysian citizens are not? Those politicians in the West side need to get their acts straight.
it's an irony Aza... why do we Sabahans treated as 2nd class citizens? it's too much... our rights are at stake from ages ago..
that lady is a malaysian citizen all her 78 years of life, she even went to vote last election, but using her driving license
you know what - when she went to get her new IC, she was told by NRD staff (whoever may that is) that the red IC is for senior citizens. she didn't know until she went home and told by her sons red IC is for PR
she went back to NRD to get replacement and explanation, but was told to apply for citizenship!!! gila kah diorang di NRD!! for the past 1 year, she went 10 times to get her citizenship back but not entertainted... yesterday... only 3 minutes!! yes, only 3 minutes she got her citizenship back!!!
cish!!!!
kesian that old lady. she had to go through so much just to get back her identity. yg paling sandi sa terbaca di DE, itu urg di JPN said the issuing of her red IC is bcos she's an old lady...adakah? what nonsense. mentang2 they dealt with urg tua, suka2 ja kasi alasan yg x betul.
oh ada pula ko komen psl tu red IC for senior citizens. didnt notice that earlier on :)
Hehehehe..Za..Budukang eh? Lama sudah ndak dengar tu perkataan. Tapi tu la ..kesian tu orang tua. Hmm..Ko tahu, bapak aku pun IC bukan biru.. Hehehhee..IC lama dulu ..ic dia warna Kuning..Nasib baik aku biru. :p
hi Chegu - why did the NRD staff say the red IC is for urang tua kan? agree this is all nonsense and 'bikin panas' IMHO
halo MJ - sudah balik rupanya ko.. IC kuning? knp ya?
kesian bah the old lady, semua urusan pun nda bulih buat for the past 2 years. and then suddenly 3 minutes bulih siap tu mykad. cisss..
